Rare "fire devil" spotted during Portugal wildfires

Those in Portugal got a rare look at what is known as a “fire devil.”

It’s an uncommon type of fire tornado, where wind and dust are caught burning in a swirling mass when induced by fire. This is all part of a wave of wildfires hitting the country, where more than a thousand firefighters are battling the flames.

Temperatures remain high, which doesn’t help in controlling the fire. Most of the fires were reportedly set accidentally or intentionally.

But what you see here, is something not seen often.
