Valentines Day: Lightning’s ThunderBug making special deliveries ahead of big day
TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Lightning's mascot, "ThunderBug," is delivering special valentines again this year – and he's starting next week.
The event returns again this year for Lightning fans, who want ThunderBug to deliver a special valentine to someone's front door. The Lightning have been holding the event for several years, but you have to book before they sell out for the year.
The deliveries will happen next Wednesday, Feb. 12, and Thursday, Feb. 13, as well as Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.

ThunderBug also visits schools and offices, but it has to be within a 30-mile radius of Amalie Arena in Tampa.
Each delivery costs $200, which includes a flower bouquet, ThunderBug doll, and a Polaroid photo and frame of the big surprise.
