Captain Dylan Hubbard says fish are active with a full moon coming up Sunday. Inshore, redfish are active throughout the entire region, while live shrimp and flounder are also good bets this time of year. Nearshore, hogfish are the “center point.” Offshore, red snapper are biting well.

Captain Dylan Hubbard says fishing is “stellar” this time of year with fronts moving through the Tampa Bay area, leading to extra activity. Inshore, snook are on the move to the back and upper bay waters, along with redfish, shrimp and trout. Nearshore, hogfish are active. Offshore, the red snapper bite is good between fronts.
