Tropical Update: July 23, 2022
Everything is currently quiet in the tropics right now with no development expected over the next five days. FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says there are a few storms rolling off the coast of Africa but they are not going to pose a problem. A layer of Saharan dust is really helping to prevent tropical development and that will continue to be the case over the next several days. Sadiku expects the Bay Area to be in good shape through the month of July.

FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says there is a parade of waves in the Atlantic, but none are expected to develop. He says things are usually pretty quiet in June and July but things typically start ramping up in August with the peak of the season in mid-September.
