Sheriff makes case for arming Pinellas teachers

At issue during Tuesday?s workshop was the report?s recommendation to have qualified teachers or staff armed to neutralize a threat. Pinellas School Board Chair Rene Flowers says they wanted to hear the sheriff?s report but already have made their decision not to allow certain teachers and staff to be armed.
