Restaurant serving up BBQ without power

CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - A local restaurant is out of electricity, but not out of BBQ.

Craig Gross and his wife started Frankie’s Patriot BBQ in Clearwater after their son, Frankie, was killed in battle in Afghanistan while serving his country.

Even though their place has no power following Hurricane Irma, Craig fired up the smoker and has been doing his best to serve up hot meals. He’s even been delivering food to electric company crews working hard to restore power. Charley visited to see how they were holding up.
