Deputies: Hernando County shooting that injured 1 doesn’t appear to be random

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - One person was taken to the hospital following a shooting in the Lincoln Road area of Brooksville early Sunday morning, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the suspect fled the scene before they arrived, but they do not believe the shooting is random.

The shooting is under investigation.
