Florida students can earn a prepaid scholarship through essay contest

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Three Hispanic students in Florida have a chance of getting a free ride to school
Governor Rick Scott announced the annual “Hispanic Heritage Month Art and Essay Contests” Students in grades 4th through 12th have a chance to win a four-year prepaid scholarship to a school in the state.
Students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd can win a cash prize. The theme is “A Celebration of Innovative Hispanic-American Leaders.” All entries are due by 5 p.m. on October 15.
