Bayshore Boulevard is a favorite spot for many Floridians to spot wildlife like birds, fish, and even rays. But during her morning stroll, one walker spotted something not normally seen in Hillsborough Bay - a large alligator.

Albertina Fonte shared the short video she took of what appears to be an alligator swimming just by the railing on Bayshore Blvd. The gator looks like it's between 8' and 10' long.

Fonte posted the video on Facebook with the caption, "On my morning walk I noticed an alligator on Bayshore! Clearly he does not belong there, does anyone know who I should call to report this? He was at least 10ft long!!"

Fonte told FOX 13 News she spotted the gator in the water between S Howard Ave. and S Rome Ave. She said she walks on Bayshore every day, but had never seen the large animal before. Other onlookers nearby, however, told her the gator was a regular in the area.
