North Port High student struck by car, police say

NORTH PORT, Fla. - A student was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning near North Port High School, authorities say.

The collision occurred on Price Boulevard. 

North Port police say the parents took the student – who has non-life-threatening injuries – to a hospital.

Authorities did not publicly release the student's identity.
