Plane catches fire at airport in Highlands County
AVON PARK, Fla. - An airplane ignited into flames at the Avon Park Executive Airport Tuesday night.
According to Highlands County Fire Rescue, firefighters responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. to help Avon Park crews put out the flames.
The cause of the fire is being investigated at this time.
