Port Charotte brush fire 95% contained

PORT CHARLOTTE (FOX 13) - A Charlotte County brush fire is now 95% contained, according to fire officials.
The scene of the fire is near Jennings Boulevard and Gisinger Boulevard west of Port Charlotte. As of Monday evening, the fire had grown to over 22 acres.
Crews are remaining on scene to attack any hot spots that pop up.
Several homes in the area were threatened, FFS says, but no evacuations have been ordered yet.
