Allie Sakezles is using a little red wagon to accomplish a big goal.

She's taking the wagon to local businesses to collect books as part of her Show and Teller organization.

"We're hoping to make sure every kid in Tampa has a book to read," said Sakezles. "I want to be able to give back to the children in our community and this just seemed to be a very good way to do that, with also getting the community involved in it through their donations, with the books that they're providing."

Books provided an escape for Sakezles as she was growing up in foster care.

"It made me feel like I wasn't alone in the world and I think that's kind of missing from kids these days, that perhaps they don't think they're the ones going through that struggle," said Sakezles.

And there's another chapter to this program.

"We're actually looking for businesses willing to host a storybook time," said Sakezles.

She's turning a page in the lives of children, one book at a time.

"It's been absolutely amazing. We've got close to a hundred book donations so far and still going strong," said Sakezles.
