CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - A lemonade stand is a tried and true fundraising tool. Many of us did it growing up.
There's one lemonade stand making a big difference for families who have kids fighting cancer.
Jackson Carter is a pediatric cancer survivor who's now giving back.
He and his family have set up lemonade stands each year for the past seven years.
This year, their money will go to the Ryan Callahan Foundation in honor of Tony Colton, a young man who recently lost his battle with pediatric cancer.
Jackson's mom says that the foundation is a great help to families facing such a tough battle.
PDQ generously donated the lemonade they're selling and if you'd like to support them, you can stop by Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
They'll be open rain or shine.
Last year’s lemonade stand raised $2,300.
The lemonade stand will be at 2226 El De Oro Drive, Clearwater, FL 33764.
