SEBRING (FOX 13) - A Sebring owner is in need of his service dog, which has gone missing.
Highlands County deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding Remy, a missing service dog who found his way out of a fenced yard and is lost, they said. He is a diabetic alert dog and his owner, “really needs him back,” they said in the agency’s Facebook post.
Remy escaped around 6 p.m. Sunday near Bianca Street in Sun ‘n Lake of Sebring. He is described as a black, tan and white long-coat Chihuahua.
Deputies say he can be skittish around people he doesn’t know, so if he is seen, it is best to call 863-253-1098, unless you have food and approach him quietly.
