Tampa man wanted for New Year's Eve shooting death

A suspect has been named in the New Year's Eve shooting death of a 24-year-old Tampa man.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has an arrest warrant for Joseph Ervin Brown, 24, for the murder of Isaiah Lee Morrison.

Morrison was found at 13415 Nebraska Avenue, just after midnight December 31, with a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital.

Brown is described as a 5 feet 5 inches tall black male, weighing 140 pounds, last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls shirt and black pants.

HCSO says Brown is considered armed and dangerous. Detectives say anyone who sees Brown should not approach him, but call 911.

Brown faces charges of first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
