Three students hit by vehicle at Brandon bus stop
BRANDON (FOX 13) - While students were preparing to board a Hillsborough County school bus, a vehicle struck at least three of the children, according to school officials.
According to a school district spokesperson, the flasher and arms were "engaged" at the bus stop located at Miller Road South and Bonterra Boulevard. The three students from Durant High School have non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV is also a Durant High School student, who is uninjured and remained on the scene.
Miller Road is currently closed as Hillsborough County deputies investigate the crash. No other details have been provided, including how the crash occurred.
