HOMOSASSA, Fla. - A 44-year-old woman who was reported missing out of Citrus County on Dec. 30 has been found dead, according to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office.

Amy McGlocklin's body was found in the area of South Court Ave., in Homosassa.

Detectives say they are working closely with the medical examiner's office to determine the cause and manner of her death.

Investigators believe that there is no threat to the public.

CCSO says they appreciate everyone's efforts to get the word out on social media about McGlocklin's disappearance.
