Snook are very active in the Bay and Capt. Dylan Hubbard says if you can find the mullet you can find the redfish who are following the schools and picking off the shrimp and small bait fish that are scared away from the grass by the mullet. Pompano are also very active along our beaches, beach fishing piers, and around the passes and channels of the area

Snook action has been good throughout the area this past week again. We are seeing plentiful fish moving around the flats, mangrove and sandy shorelines, oyster bars, and passes. Plus, the beaches have had a decent number of fish show up and stay around too, says Captain Dylan Hubbard of Hubbard's Marina.
