Tropical Storm Bret?s wind speed are just five miles an hour shy of becoming a hurricane. However, Weber says if it does become a hurricane it will be short-lived as it heads into the Caribbean and begins to battle wind shear. Tropical Depression #4 is trailing behind the tropical storm and as of 11 a.m. it had wind speeds of 35 miles an hour. If winds reach 40 miles per hour, Tropical Depression #4 will become Tropical Storm Cindy, which may happen on Thursday.

Weber says that over the next few days, the depression will continue to move towards the east and strengthen. A few modules have the storm moving south, while others have the storm staying farther to the north. Weber says there are still many question marks surrounding this storm. However, he adds that at this point, none of the modules indicate that there would be any effects over the U.S.
