FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Bret and Tropical Depression #4, which formed early Thursday morning. Tropical Storm Bret?s wind speed are just five miles an hour shy of becoming a hurricane. However, Weber says if it does become a hurricane it will be short-lived as it heads into the Caribbean and begins to battle wind shear. Tropical Depression #4 is trailing behind the tropical storm and as of 11 a.m. it had wind speeds of 35 miles an hour. If winds reach 40 miles per hour, Tropical Depression #4 will become Tropical Storm Cindy, which may happen on Thursday.

FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber says the tropics are active as he keeps an eye on Tropical Storm and Invest 93L, which is likely to develop into a tropical system within the next two days. Weber says wind shear will create a hostile environment for both storms, but Invest 93L will also head into warm waters that are conducive for further development. He says Tropical Storm Brett may weaken due to wind shear if it tracks a little south, but if it tracks north without the wind shear it may develop into a hurricane.

Fox 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber says a tropical depression working its way across the Atlantic is likely to become a hurricane. Weber says that over the next few days, the depression will continue to move towards the east and strengthen. A few modules have the storm moving south, while others have the storm staying farther to the north. Weber says there are still many question marks surrounding this storm. However, he adds that at this point, none of the modules indicate that there would be any effects over the U.S.
