Tropics heat up with 2 areas of disturbed weather

FOX 13 Meteorologist Nash Rhodes is watching two areas of disturbed weather. One is off he east coast of the United States that has a 10% chance of formation over the next week and Invest 96L, which has a 50% chance of development over the next seven days in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. However, neither system is expected to impact the United States.

FOX 13 Meteorologist Dave Osterberg says some strong storms will be back during the PM hours Friday with a 70% coverage of rain. It?s a similar setup through the weekend before rain chances start to drop again next week, meaning the heat comes back.

Tropical wave to bring rain to Bay Area

FOX 13 Meteorologist Jim Weber is keeping an eye on three areas in the tropics, including Dexter, which is now a post-tropical system working its way out to sea. He?s watching an area off the east coast that may become a sub-tropical system as it moves away from the United States. Weber is also monitoring Invest 96L that has a 60% chance of developing over the next seven days. There is also a tropical wave over the Bahamas that is working its way toward Florida and will up our rain chances over the next few days.
