'Creatures of the Night' returns to Lowry Park Zoo
TAMPA (FOX 13) - The Lowry Park Zoo is turning into an eerie spectacle for October.
‘Creatures of the Night’ returns on Fridays and Saturdays, from October 6 to 28, where the zoo will stay open late for an immersive Halloween experience. Guests can witness the nighttime habits of the animal residents. There will be werewolves, graveyards and mummies. Families can also enjoy a spooky-themed, animal show called “Knock Knock: Trick-or-Treating with the Animals.”
A new scare zone debuts called “Whispering Woods” for pre-teens and adults, which is described as “a frightful forest with a thirst for souls. Visitors can enter, but may never…leaf!” There will be delicious food like the Beast Burger and cocktails made of pumpkin spice.
