A Bay Area figure skating club is heading to the Big Apple for a performance of their lifetime.

The Tampa Bay Skating Academy Countryside Club is first making a stop at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. They plan on performing Sunday at 11:50 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. A group of 15 figure skaters will head to New York to perform at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park on Thursday, December 27.

The skaters home rink is in the Countryside Mall, and their ages range toddlers to adults. They perform in Tampa Bay and across the country. They also have won many competitions. However, the trip to New York is a first for the team.
