2016 deadline for enrollment in health insurance through healthcare.gov
December 15, 2015 Is the deadline to enroll in health insurance coverage for coverage beginning in January of 2016.
Health and human services secretary Sylvia Burwell says staff will be working up until the deadline to help people find the right plan for them.
In person assistance is available by phone to help people shop. The number is 1-800-318-2596. That number is available 24-7. It is in English and in Spanish.
