$570 million jackpot on the line in Saturday's Powerball drawing

(FOX 13) - The Mega Millions and Powerball lottery jackpots have been steadily climbing over the last several drawings. 

But after a Port Richey 7-Eleven sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $450 million Friday, all eyes Saturday are on the $570 million Powerball jackpot.

If someone wins, it will be the nation's 8th largest lottery prize ever.

No winning tickets were sold for Wednesday's Powerball drawing, which was valued at $460 million. Since then, the jackpot has grown more than $100 million as gamblers load up on tickets, hoping to strike it rich.

As for the that lucky Port Richey winner, they had not come forward publicly 24 hours after the Mega Millions numbers were drawn. The winner - or possibly winners - purchased the ticket at the 7-Eleven located at 7131 Ridge Road.
