SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Yoga is all about finding your inner peace and quieting your mind - but for this particular class, it might be hard to focus.
Kitten yoga is put on in conjunction with the Scottsdale Quarter and the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
"It's a really fun way to socialize these kittens and get them homes," said Michael Morefield of the AAWL.
With an annual intake of 1300 cats, the AAWL has to get creative when it comes to getting these felines adopted.
"People are so excited to do this," said Morefield. "We've sold out every kitten yoga event we've held for the last two years within a couple of days."
In this particular class, the 22 cats brought in to participate all found homes.
The AAWL hopes to have monthly kitten yoga events.
