Body found in Tampa house fire

One person has died after an early morning house fire in Tampa.

Tampa Fire Rescue and Tampa Police responded to the home on West Ida Street just after 5 a.m. Saturday.

Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the single story brick building.

One the building was stable, they went inside and found a body.

The victim has still not been identified, and there were no other injuries.

The cause is now under investigation.
