A sea of blue celebrated outside Amalie Arena as the Tampa Bay Lightning struck down the Boston Bruins' chances of advancing to the next round.

At first, it didn't look great for fans as the Bruins jumped out to an early lead.

"They definitely had the advantage in the first period, but in the second period and third period, we showed up - like we always do," said Bolts fan Stephanie Taylor.

The Bolts' eventual 3-1 victory sent Thunder Alley booming.

Bobby Fields, who's been cheering on the Bolts his entire life, says this season is extra special.

"It's the 25th season of Lightning hockey," Fields said. "All these fans out here, even the players- they take that to heart. It's been amazing!"

The bolts will face off against the winner of the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins series, which the Capitals lead three to two.

"I think they match up better against the Capitals, maybe get some rest, head on against Washington, sweep them in six games," said fan Ben Root.
