Hillary Clinton's campaign brought a star to St. Petersburg Saturday night.

Jon Bon Jovi joined Clinton's running mate, Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), at a "Get Out the Vote" event in a state that seems to be getting more important as the election gets closer.

Saturday evening's concert and rally was held at the State Theatre.

Most of the people at the event were solid Hillary Clinton supporters.

Many have already voted, but the message was mainly aimed at millennials and anyone still undecided.

The goal is they will take advantage of the last day of early voting on Sunday and help turn Florida blue.

About 700 ticketed supporters were inside for the concert and to hear Kaine speak.

Bon Jovi also stressed why he's supporting Clinton.

He said there's no one else qualified for the White House.

Jon Bon Jovi and Kaine also played a song together, with Kaine on the harmonica.

Kaine talked for less than ten minutes.

He pushed anyone who hasn't voted to vote for Clinton and help her win what's become one of the most important battleground states in this election that's polling close.

"Florida is really important and here's the thing," said Kaine. "You guys have already, more than 5 million of you, have already voted in early voting. That's astounding. That's astounding. If you're in Hillsborough or Pinellas, you can vote tomorrow too, 7am to 7pm. Please vote early to keep the momentum going so Hillary can be successful on Tuesday the 18th."

Saturday's event continued the theme for the Clinton campaign to bring major star-power out to encourage people to vote on election day.

Donald Trump has criticized Clinton for bringing out celebrities, saying he's bringing out major crowds on his own.
