Crystal River resident hospitalized after house fire breaks out: CCFR
CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - A Crystal River resident was hospitalized after a fire broke out at their home early on Monday morning, according to Citrus County Fire Rescue.
While crews were responding, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office Communications Center said they lost communication with the person inside the home.
That's when fire crews forced their way inside the home and located the resident.

What they're saying:
CCFR says that smoke was seen throughout the home and large amounts of clutter and debris made it tough for crews to move around.

The fire was confirmed to be under control at 3:35 a.m.
What's next:
The Florida State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
