Denver Zoo hyena spins, splashes away summer heat
DENVER, Co. (STORYFUL) - A hyena at Denver Zoo made the most of recent hot temperatures at the zoo’s Predator Ridge enclosure by spinning around in a circle in a pool.
According to zoo staff, Kelele had a case of the “zoomies” after she discovered a tasty bone at the bottom of the pool.
Footage posted to the zoo’s Facebook page on July 21 shows an excited Kelele racing around in a circle.
“How did this happen? On a particularly hot day, Kelele was just completely overjoyed at the presence of a tasty bone in his pool, and the result was just pure fun and excitement,” the zoo wrote.
