Deputies: Teen hired sex worker; busted by mom

TRINITY (FOX 13) - Deputies in Pasco County say a Trinity teenager hired a sex worker from the internet and snuck her back home as his parents slept – but now she’s in jail after the teen’s mom found out.
According to investigators, the 15-year-old hired Trisha Baia of Spring Hill, who went by the screen name “Pretty Little Thing” on Backpage.com. He agreed to meet her at the entrance of his gated community just after midnight on May 26, then drive with her back to his house.
“The victim told the defendant that they had to be quiet because his parents were asleep upstairs,” the arrest affidavit noted.
Baia, 25, left the home after the two had sex, but the teen’s mother soon found out what happened – deputies did not specify how – and called the sheriff’s office.
Deputies say surveillance video from a neighbor’s home and a search of the teen’s phone led them to Baia, who admitted being paid $100 to have sex with the teen, but insisted that he’d told her he was 19 years old.
Baia now faces charges of lewd and lascivious battery and sexual activity with a minor.
