Dog beats the heat in tiny bird bath

TULSA, Okla. (FOX 13) - Here's one way to cool down in the summer.

A German Shepherd named Kai discovered a resourceful way to cool off in the heat in his Oklahoma backyard.

Video shows the dog drinking water in a bird bath before deciding to wedge himself in the basin.

"That weird bird is back in the yard," Kai's owners joked in their post.

Turns out, this wasn't Kai's first foray into the bird bath.

Another video posted on his owner's account shows the pup happily sitting in the basin as another German Shepherd walks in the grass nearby.

Whatever it takes to beat the heat!
