Florida woman arrested for allegedly sitting on sea turtle

MELBOURNE (FOX 13) - A Florida woman has been arrested for sitting on a sea turtle.

Back in July, a picture of a woman on a turtle went viral.

Fish and Wildlife officials opened a criminal investigation.

Saturday, Melboure police arrested Stephanie Moore, 20, who was positively identified as the woman in the picture.

She's charged with disturbing a marine turtle, which is a felony.
