Free clothes for kids in need
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Families on a tight budget who need clothes can get free help at a place called Clothes to Kids. This grassroots effort to lift up families is What's Right with Tampa Bay.
"We provide a week's worth of school clothes to low-income or in-crisis school-age children, free of charge," said Jennifer Jacobs, the development director for Clothes to Kids.
Clothes to Kids just opened up a new location in Hillsborough County. The organization has been around since 2002.
"They can pick out clothes that they like and that fits them," Jacobs continued. "We are just like a department store. The only difference between us and some of the bigger box retailers is that the kids get to come and they get to shop for free."
