Sarasota intersection reopens after gas leak

SARASOTA, Fla. - First responders along with TECO spent much of the early morning trying to cap a gas leak in Sarasota.
A construction crew struck a gas line at the intersection of Honore Avenue and Wilkinson Road early Friday.
For the next several hours, the intersection was closed.
The leak was capped and the roads reopened by 9 a.m.
