Gator caught in side yard of Lakeland residence
LAKELAND, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Lakeland Police department posted a video of an officer working with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to capture a gator in the side yard of a residence in Lakeland, Florida.
The suspicious prowler was said to have been lurking in the yard, but he was quickly located by officers and hey called for back-up. Trapper Travis Lanphar soon came to help.
The prowlers roly-poly strength and gnashing teeth while rolling around on the ground was an attempt to get away. But in the end, the prowler was "arrested" and advised of his Miranda warnings by Lakeland Police Officer Fred Lewis.
