Weather conditions inside an Austrian village generated a rare and stunning tornado.

Called a gustanado – the swirling snow swept through southern Austria.

Also known as a mini tornado because of its brief lifespan, the gustanado formed on the heels of a passing thunderstorm.

The weather event didn't cause any commotion.

Witnesses only observed an abundance of snowflakes in the air until it disappeared.
