Head-on crash in Winter Haven kills 1 person, injures another: PCSO
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - One man is dead and another was hospitalized with serious injuries after a head-on collision on SR-60 in Winter Haven on Saturday, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
According to evidence and witness statements, one of the two cars involved was heading west in the eastbound lanes when the crash happened.

That car was driven by 27-year old Sergio Nino Ramirez of Lake Wales.
The victim, Orli Sanchez, 35, from Eagle Lake was found dead inside a 2004 Nissan Sentra.

The crash happened about a half-mile east of Logistics Pwky.
The eastbound lanes remained closed for about four hours after the crash.
What's next:
Criminal charges could be pending after an investigation, which is ongoing.
