TAMPA (FOX 13) - As severe thunderstorms moved through the Bay Area Wednesday morning, a few inches of rain quickly turned into deep water in much of the Bay Area.

Rain pounded areas from Citrus County down to Sarasota during the morning rush hour, and leaving some neighborhoods flooded.
