Hernando County shooting under investigation

DADE CITY, Fla. - Deputies in Hernando County are investigating a shooting that took place Sunday on Jodi West Drive in Dade City. 

Deputies say the shooting appears to be domestic-related. They believe all parties are accounted for and there is no threat to the community. 

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office has released little information about the shooting, but did say one person was injured in the incident. 

According to HCSO, shortly after the shooting, a passerby discovered a body in the water off Reynolds Street, near the Withlacoochee River.  However, deputies say they don't believe the two incidents are related at this time.
