A program at Jesuit High School gives students the opportunity to help others during the holiday season.

Students unloaded food items that will make 165 Thanksgiving food baskets to families in need.

The students will also deliver those boxes, giving them a chance to see the impact their good deeds have on the people they serve.

Andrew Wood heads the program for Jesuit High School.

"This is a chance for the students to come together and raise money to feed families in the Tampa Bay community," Wood explained.

They will bring the baskets to families at five area Boys & Girls Clubs and the Migrant Education Program Sunday, November 19.

"Going out into real world and delivering meals it just brings a joy to my heart that's not like any other I ever received," Said Student Andres Cartaya.

Each basket contains a frozen turkey, cooking pans, stuffing, potatoes, rice, cranberries, vegetables, gravy, and more.
