Man takes flight with cluster of helium balloons

A British man is blowing a lot of hot air.

Tom Morgan buckled up for a unique journey across South Africa, via a cluster of balloons. Just like in the Disney Pixar movie, “Up,” he was suspended by helium balloons, but instead of stationing inside an entire house, he he sat in a camping chair as he went up and away.

Morgan, who is part of the company “The Adventurists,” traveled 15 miles across South Africa by air reaching a height of more than 8,000 feet.

It took him about two hours to come back to land. Due to approaching strong winds, he was forced to pop the balloons one by one. He said the experience has inspired him to organize what he would call, “The World’s Most Ridiculous Air Race.”
