Massachusetts police shut down tunnel to rescue frightened kitten

Massachusetts State Police are looking for a name for the kitten rescued from the Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston on September 3.

Several members of the public had reported that the frazzled feline was loose in the tunnel. Sgt. Bob Dateo shut down traffic going into the area, leaving time for the Animal Rescue League of Boston to collect the kitten and bring her to safety.

In a Facebook post, the Massachusetts State Police said, “This little kitten looks like she has been through a lot, as she has lost quite a bit of fur on her tail from some sort of burn. Her prognosis is good however, and she will be up for adoption soon, when she is medically cleared.”
