Mickey Mouse surprises TGH's pediatric patients
TAMPA (FOX 13) - For kids at Tampa General Hospital who can't make it to Amalie Arena, ‘Disney on Ice’ came to them. That included the biggest star of the show: Mickey Mouse himself.
Mickey visited with the children in the pediatric ward and brightened their day. All the kids got Mickey ears, a coloring book, and pictures with the famous mouse.
“It's really special to come, one on one, meet kids, and hang out with them. He loves to meet with them in person. It’s a huge part of what Mickey loves to do,” offered Disney on Ice’s Anna Cobb.
Part of the proceeds from tonight’s performance benefit the Tampa General Hospital Foundation.
