HCSO says an investigation into the overdoses of William Jackson, 41, and Amanda Stephens, 36, started on July 6, 2024, when they were found dead at their home near the 800 block of Richmond Street in Gibsonton.
Authorities say the six-month investigation led deputies to Ramero Randolph, 36, leading to him being arrested on two counts of first-degree murder, resulting from the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance on Jan. 9, 2025.
"Drug dealers profiting from addiction that leads to death in our community will face the full consequences of the law," said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Thanks to the hard work of our detectives, another drug dealer is off the streets after causing tragic and preventable deaths."
