TAMPA (FOX 13) - Oktoberfest at Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa kicked off Friday, October 12 and will have all the beer, brats, music, and games your inner German desires – through Sunday, October 14.
With lederhosen as far as the eye could see, the sounds of singing, dancing, and cold beer flowing filled downtown Tampa’s waterfront park Friday evening.
Just in time for the celebration, Tampa will see temperatures below 80-degrees this weekend for the first time in more than 150 days.
They tapped the inaugural keg to get the party started. Thousands are expected to visit Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for the 3-day festival.
