Pinellas community meetings coming up to discuss flood zone changes
SEMINOLE (FOX 13) - Pinellas County and FEMA officials will host their second of four community meetings on the upcoming changes to the county flood zones.
FEMA released preliminary maps assessing flood risk in Pinellas and Pasco Counties earlier this month, and changes from past maps could effect flood insurance premiums for property owners.
Residents with questions are invited to attend Wednesday’s meeting in Clearwater, at Countryside Recreation Center on 2640 Sabal Springs Drive from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. FEMA plans to release re-assessed Hillsborough and Hernando flood maps in October.
Upcoming meetings:

Seminole Recreation Center, 9100 113th Street N, Seminole
