Powerball jackpot swells to $435 million
TALLAHASSEE (FOX 13) - The Powerball jackpot continues to grow after 19 consecutive drawings with no winner. The estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $435 million, with a cash value lump sum estimates at $273.1 million.
The last winning ticket was sold in Littlefield, Arizona, with a jackpot of $60 million.
Saturday's Powerball jackpot will be the eighth largest Powerball jackpot in the lottery's history.
Folks at the Florida Lottery recommend players sign the back of their tickets at the time of purchase and keep them in a safe place. Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
The deadline to purchase tickets for Saturday night’s drawing is 10:00 p.m. Numbers will be drawn at 10:59 p.m. ET.
