An incredible replica of a historic ship is docked in St. Petersburg for visitors to enjoy.

The Schooner America was part of the first world's fair in England in 1851. It was built to demonstrate the skill of American shipbuilders for others around the globe.

The ship would go on to win a race around the Isle of Wight and became the namesake for the America’s cup.

This replica is visiting the harborage marina in St. Petersburg. Owner Troy Sears says he's excited to be taking the boat on a world tour.

Visitors can stop by the ship for free tours, or go on a sunset trip, for a fee. The ship will be in the Bay Area until Sunday night. For tickets and more information, visit http://nextlevelsailing.com/.
